We will only collect, process and use personal data that is necessary to carry out our services.

Usage Data

Every time a user accesses a page on our web application and every time a file is accessed, impersonal usage data about this process is stored in log files on the web server. The usage data is statistically evaluated internally in order to optimize our web application. The mandatory information requested must be provided completely and truthfully, otherwise we can refuse registration and reserve the right to delete the user account.

When you use some functions, additional data is stored in your user account. For example, if you use the personal watch list for words, sentences and modules, it will save which words, sentences and modules you want to have on your list. Completed lessons and modules are also saved in your user account so that you can better understand your personal learning process. This information stored in your user account cannot be read by other users. It is possible that they will be evaluated and reused anonymously.

The data that you have provided in your user account will only be passed on to third parties mentioned under “Integration of third-party services and content”.

If you would like to permanently delete your user account, you can do this at any time in your account settings. You can read in the terms and conditions about what happens to any subscriptions that are still running when you delete your account.
